In the Kitchen: Walnut Kale Power Pesto
Brigid Rafferty from The Power of Juice joins The Rhode Show kitchen to make Walnut Kale Power Pesto.
1 batch = 6 to 7 four oz. jars
6 oz. curly kale (1/2 bunch)
4 oz. Italian parsley (1 bunch)
3/4 oz. garlic (4 cloves)
1 cup olive oil
6 Tbsp. lemon juice (1 lemon)
3 tsp. flaky sea salt
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3 tsp. turmeric
2 cups walnuts
Process all ingredients in a food processor for approximately 1 to 1-1/2 minutes until desired consistency.
